I've had a look back thru' past threads but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of up-to-date info.

We've tried West Street, anyone any recommendations or comments please about the place at Crookes? Ecclesall Road?

Las iguanas in west one,amazing food

There is a tapas bar on trippets lane that I hear good things about although never been.

I went to las iguanas last night and it was nice. Plus on Sundays and Mondays all cocktails are buy one get one free :love:

There's a new place on Eccy Road called La Vina - spanish, sells Tapas etc....myself and girlfriend tried to get in on Bank Holiday monday and it was snided - smelt really nice aswell so that's always an option.

cubana - fab

las iguanas - love the 2 for one cocktails especailly the raspberry martini's, tapas menu shorter than it use to be but lots of spicey nice things.

spinrocks - not bad - tasty food - good night if there is a large group

La Mancha- not been

wig and pen - rather tasty

Tequilla - lovely and they do cocktail offers too

cant think of anywhere else ive been for tapas, but if in doubt go to cubana or las iguanas.

I had the delight of sampling The Wig & Pen's tapas fares last night...rather tasty I must say. The food's always really good from there, anyway. I should particularly recommend the artichokes with goat's cheese and sun-blushed tommies - heaven.

Cubanna's (think that's how its spelt) on trippett lane - gorgeous tapas and not too expensive either! give it a whirl :)

Its not expensive and service isnt bad too :)

The review in the Star last night really rated the tapas at the Mediteranean restaurant on Sharrowvale Road. It's consistently mentioned in reviews and things must be worth a try.
