You can fly via Istanbul from Manchester,but for that price you could get a holiday with it depending how long you want to go for.They were talking about opening the border as a condition to joining the EU,whether that has happened I don't know.

I had no problems with them,they now say can now land in other Turkish places.
If you do go do not post any photos on the internent.I did and had loads of abuse from Greek Cypriots.
