Is this possible- to fly from either Sheffield airport or Doncaster airport to one of the airports in London?

I've looked high and low on the doncaster and sheffield airports and they dont seem to do comercial flights around the UK which is a bit of an annoyance as I'd prefer a 30mins flight down the country rather than to be sat on a bus/train or in a car for hours on end travelling.

Anyone know of any flights that do this from either doncaster or sheffield?

BMI offer flights from Leeds Bradford to either Heathrow or London City

Just put in flying wed 31 may with 7 jun return at Expedia and it's only about £120 inc. taxes return to Heathrow - though the train isn't that slower or more expensive and there's none of the hassle of the airport.

Hopefully Peel will get their arses in gear and offer flights to London soon.

Nope, best bet in a car is LBA, or train Manchester Airport (60 mins from sheffield station to the airport).

BA fares start at around £28 from Manchester to London - Jet2 do it for around £24 (from LBA or Manchester).

Trains almost certainly faster, which is apparently why there are no flights offered from doncaster.
