So this year I have decided to be healthy at last and am not going to lay in the sun making my skin look even older just for the sake of a tan so I need recommendations for a good false tan cream that doesn't streak or run if it gets a bit wet.

I don't want to look ridiculously brown or orange I just need a slight colour so I don't look so pale when wearing the summer clothes.

I don't want to get sprayed I just want a reasonably priced cream - any suggestions please?

Well I do intend on getting a light base from sitting in the garden with a few vodkas but I can't seem to stay in it like I use to when I was in my 20's - now I am knocking on a bit I get irritable with the heat - or maybe I am just getting irritable with being in my 40's!!!

I am going to America in September so wouldn't mind a bit of colour for then too so if it's worn off I can resort to a bit of fake tan.

oooh, thanks for the tip, i'm gonna try it. I only started using fake tan last year, and i still go streaky! I think L'oreal Subline Bronze is pretty good. i'll try the hawaiin tropic tho.

Any tips for not geting streaky feet?

The only other thing i don't like about fake tan is my hands are always whiter than everything else cos i wash them! S'pose i should just stopping washing my hands!

Latex gloves! That way you don't have to wash your hands after you've applied it.

I bought some of that new L'Oreal Nutrisummer, or Nutrisun, like Johnsons holiday skin.....

Can I just say, it stinks. I was really disappointed. I thought it would be like a nice light moisturiser with a nice smell, but no, it smelt of really cheap fake tan :gag: ...... AND it still left streaks on my knees!

Avoid at all costs.....
