Does anyone remember/used to go to the Himalaya just off West Street? Next to Nirmals and The Bath?

Last time I was in there, just before it got demolished for West One, the old chap that ran it told me he was hanging out for his resteurant to have a spot in the new development, and he had got it.

But, alas, it has not reopened.

One of the better Indians IMO. Went there for about twenty years.

Does anyone know what happened? 'Cos I miss it.

No idea what happened to it, but it certainly used to be my favourite many years ago. Not that I frequented it a lot, but the food and service were always excellent whenever I went there.
