As far as I am aware it was a very quiet May Day without much protest compared to a few years ago in London when the Anarchists ran riot.

Have these people given up on their quest and thrown in the towel?

Or perhaps the fact that it was on a Saturday put a spanner in the works?

Nahhh... we don't have May Day now there's a Labour Government. Don't want the populace getting ideas do we now? ;)

Well we all danced the May in at WHitby Abbey at 5am...I say 'we', what I actually mean is all my friends did and I stayed in bed with flu. Oh well...no protesting though.
