I see The Sun is offering £50,000 if any of the competitors are shown having sex on the next series of Big Brother. But there's a catch - the couple involved should not be the same sex.

Is this homophobic or what?

Please discuss.

OK steelblade?

Yes maxt, fine :)

Wonder why they said no to same sex sex  sorry.

Personally I can't say as I want to watch any of them having sex, it's not what it's all about.

I did think it was a bit controversial about them specificly stating that the sex had to be straight. This means if you're gay you're excluded.

Anyway, surely the ethics of offering people money to have any sort of sex has to be questionable?

Ethics & The Sun, that deserves a whole new thread, unless they are mutually incompatible.

Go one have sex on telly... you know you want to!
they'll never show it.... but I suppose this IS C4 we're talkin about!

What are the bookies offering by way of odds for a couple to do it in the house? Anyone know?

You can't beat a nice bit of lesbian sex. Unless one of them is Jade.

Me thinks any willing BB house members would probably do the deed under the cover of a duvet, unless they were true exhibitionists, which opens the Sun's 50 grand offer up to any willing pair who can simulate (pretend), or would the Sun require graphic evidence (Hardcore style) ?

I say it's only fair to go for option 2!

Last year BB web site charged £9.99 per month for live streaming, if I'm not mistaken, don't know if any other site live streams it for free ?

That's a ******* outrage!
What an idea tho. Fancy setting up a steaming website and we'll pay the £9.99 per month and direct the streamto our site and charge £2 per month to everyone! We'd make a killing!

Any comments on The Sun's homophobia, that being the point of my original posting?

Only the fact that I wouldn't want to see such an act, and I am NOT homophobic. I wouldn't bn it from TV tho... if they are willing to show one, they should show both. I'd be happy to switch over for a bit!

On the flip side I'd have no problem seeing a guy and a gal or just two gals gettin it on. It's what the individual can handle I suppose!

I'll second DaBouncers comment, I wouldnt want to see two blokes simply as a matter of taste and not homophobia, and as DaBouncer says anything else goes, is the Sun really homophobic or are they just expressing a common view ?
Each to their own I say !

Wasn't serious, but if it were legal (I'm unsure) then I'd be interested!
Maybe someone in the know could fill us in!

Not wanting to sound like a prude, but isn't this a form of prostitution?

Sidla

That was what I meant by my original comment. It's not really ethical to offer people money to have sex.

i'm surprised people actually watch such inane drivel. if you want to see people having sex, subscribe to a porn channel. if you want to see people sat about talking, go to your local pub.

Does it count as prostitution if the person paying isn't receiving though?

(Of course, it's still unethical but not prostitution surely.)

If you want to see 12 complete nutters locked up pretending to be nice to each other and you've seen 3 series of Big Brother and 2 series of Celebrity Big Brother and thought they were quite funny at times ... watch Big Brother 4 tonight!

Must say I don't think I'm going to enjoy this series as much as the others. Sissy is so annoying! Anouska seems a bit of a cow and the looks she gave some of the other girls when they came in... if looks could kill! Don't know who'll win to be honest!
