Hi to all,

I pretty sure Gary Numan was on a the Leadmill last night ie Friday 28th, if so would love to get some comments from other numanoids.

I could not go due to work commitments.

Cheers.

It was STORMIN as always!! Have been going to see him live for 22 years and last night was as good as ever. It wasn't packed to the rafters but a huge crowd anyway and the sound was amazing, on a par with the big gigs he does (and we go to) in London. He did a great set and came back on for two encores and still we were out for 10.20pm due to the club opening to usual punters.
You missed a treat, seeing him in a club environment. The last time we went to London we were right at the back of Shepherds Bush Empire but last night it was comfortable 8 or so rows from the stage.
He's the man...long may he continue!!!

Was gutted to miss seeing him in this size venue :( But i'm in London for a few days, so was unable to go.

Did he sing *cars* ??? Im more of a fan of his 80s stuff, went to see him play for the first time a few years back, and he didnt play it. i was gutted....

He didn't do Cars which was surprising but more than made up for it with plenty of old stuff. I love the new stuff just as much, especially Pure which is an amazing album. My mate has gone off to Manchester tonight for his show there and I'm insanely jealous :(
He's nothing like the old 'stage' Numan, he's all over the place like a nu-metal demon and looks great for 48.
When I worked out how many years I've been going to his live shows I had a 'showing my age' moment but what the hell, he's blinkin' worth it:clap:

Its great but very dark in places and very industrial. Along the same lines of Pure but it's taken me longer to get into this one but they were better live and thats swung it for me.

:( :( :(

Grrrr, wish I had known about this, I have always loved Numan stuff, been ages since I went to a Numan gig, in fact, it would have been 1988 or thereabouts, although I do prefer his 70's and 80's stuff, anything from Generation X and Tubeway Army upwards rocks.

Who looked drugged up, the person that dropped out or Numan ?

If it was Numan, there is a reason for this....

Shadowman, what is the reason? I'm curious.

He has Aspergers Syndrome and has various drugs prescribed to help control it.

In fact it was Gemma (his wife) who first realised that he had this and persuaded him to go for tests.

Crikey, I didn't know that and am a mega fan! Am going to have a look into this..thanks for telling me.
Gemma seems cool. I've been told they were both on Lorraine Kelly this morning and I missed it as at work.

They were, and I hear that Gemma sounded depressed - ah, well, the price of fame.
