If I have lost tickets to a show at the arena, can I get replacements? To put a spanner in the works, I bought the tickets from someone - strictly speaking should the barer of the ticket being presented at the door be the person who originally purchased it?
and for the big spanner - I bought them off ebay have never turned up and he said he sent them first class, from Rotherham, the seller has a Cert of postage. Any advice?
If they were reported lost/stolen to the Arena, on the night of the show (Little Britian by the way), would someone or could someone check to see if someone is occupying the seats - I.e. with tickets NOT belonging to them?
Cheers.
If youd bought them yourself you might have been able to still get in by showing your credit card and matching it with their records, but since you bought the tickets from ebay, youre probably buggered

this is absolutely true but a few years ago my lovely dad threw out my glastonury ticket thinking it was a flyer for a club :o - luckily someone advertised one in the star so got ripped off twice that year - cheers folks:thumbsup:
You could ask the person who sold them to you to contact the Arena and explain, they can then tell the Arena to expect you and give a password and your name etc.

Sounds like a plan, but, I thought I had heard that the purchaser of the ticket is not supposed to sell them on.
I've sent him a message on ebay, asking, if the tickets don't arrive tomorrow (saturday), would he be willing to meet me at the arena, maybe over the weekend, with his ID/proof and get replacements. he only lives in Rotherham. Do you think I'm asking too much?
No, I think if it isn't a problem in terms of availability it would be fine. He could always say it was a gift and not ebay. I know it's a lie but....it's one way.

You might just need his booking reference, if he still has it. Contact the arena and ask if there was any way to get in with booking refences having lost your tickets.
Good luck!

The guy I bought them off has sent me a message to say that he spoke to the post office who have advised to give until Saturday before reporting lost. He also left a contact mobile no. for me to ring him to assist in getting replacement tickets.
If you paid via Paypal you can try to claim your money back through them.
How confident are you that the tickets actually existed in the first place?
