Getting Geoff and the Mods' backs up on here cos of my daft personal feud with t020.

I do apologise for that by the way, and as I told Geoff earlier by PM, I promise to behave from now on.

Sounds like it's a good job you did stop, you'd have trouble being alive by now otherwise.

Worst mistake I ever made:

Living with someone who abused me.
Thinking that it was my fault.
Believing that I loved him.
Not having the courage to leave.
5 years wasted.

Best thing I ever did...

Walk out and never turn back.

p.s. that was years ago when I was young, dumb and ignorant.

Lol I'd have still been alive (I love my food too much), I just wouldn't have crept back up to a size 12!

I was just curious after reading the 'turn back time' post. i don't know if things are mistakes or more just learning curves..

I wish I'd tried harder at my A Levels to be fair..

I wish I could've stayed more motivated through college and maybe now I wouldn't have been stuck in this awful job.

I got disillusioned and lost all my motivation.

And I was too busy riding, which I no longer do :(

Letting my mum cut my hair from the ages of 6 - 12 eeeeeeeek wedge fringe and basin haircut not a good look :D

I also have a horrible tendancy to faff about... could really do with spending time more constructively instead of spending hours in a state of existential uncertainty and staring at the wallpaper :loopy:

Choosing to study poncy graphics and illustration after I left school and being too pretentious to see that if I'd learned a trade I'd have been out of college alot sooner and with alot less debt on my shoulders.

I'm currently trying to make amends by training as a gas engineer. If only I'd done this 10 years ago! :loopy:

Listening to my teachers at school and let them talk me out of learning a trade as I was supposedly 'too bright' and should be going to college and then university. What they really meant is don't do a trade as it will screw the schools figures up, we don't actually give a **** about you and your future all we care about is our figures....

Luckily I have since realised the errors of my ways and am enjoying life without a degree :)

Mistakes are there to be learnt from, hopefully. We've all made mistakes and probably have regrets but it makes us the people we are.Whether this is a good thing or not remains to be seen!

The worst mistake you ever made was getting banned from the Sheffield Forum?? You need to get out and make a few proper mistakes.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Don't look at it as 5 wasted years but rather a lesson that has made you a stronger woman for the rest of your life.
