I now have one of those parrot phones with a poly ringtone. I've downloaded a midi file of a tune I like but can't boost the volume. Does anyone know of any free s/w that allows me to up the volume?

View Full Version : Boosting the volume on mobile midi ringtones max 05-05-2004, 08:14 I now have one of those parrot phones with a poly ringtone. Rich 05-05-2004, 10:19 *cough* Turn the sound up on your phone *cough* Sidla 05-05-2004, 11:38 No such software will exist, because the volume of MIDI songs is determined by the hardware which is playing the file. fnkysknky 05-05-2004, 13:21 Of course it exists - any MIDI sequencer will allow you to change the volume of the track and the velocity of each individual note up to a maximum of 127 (controller 7 should be the track volume). Max try http://www.50download.com/41811_download-MIDIFixer.htm - not tried it myself but seems like it's ok. If you have any sequencing software just use that instead :) If controller 7 is already set to 127 and all the note velocities are set to 127 then I'm afraid there's not a lot you can do. max 05-05-2004, 17:54 Thanks for that. It appears to do what I want but in order to save the fixed midi file I have to buy an activation code for $5. fnkysknky 05-05-2004, 18:29 Oops told ya I hadn't checked it :P Check your PM anyway :) |
