Right, the council are as useless as we are. Can someone PLEASE tell me where the Hagg House allotments are? Also, all the posts about these allotments are oldish on here, so does anyone have one of these plots? Are they really that bad?

The Hagg House allotments are on the hill between Rivelin Valley Road, Bole Hill Road on the East side of Hagg Hill.

They are now mostly overgrown, but they are the only allotments in S10 without a long waiting list. I've only just taken over a plot there a month ago and a few other of the allotments have also been taken this year. (There are still around a 100 vacant)

If you want a challenge and a sense of achivement then come to Hagg House!!

Did you try asking anyone in the council? For future reference the Parks & Countryside Dept can be contacted on 2500500. The allotments are on the right hand side as you go down Hagg Hill. If the plot is really overgrown you may be able to get it cleared before you move on - ring the Allotment office on the above number.

There are lots of contact details on the council website

When I was looking for an allotment they were very helpful, the allotment officer is called Sarah, and is the person you need to make contact with.
