what's the one thing that you would do different? like choosing a different career, not getting married for example etc
(i don't mean changing history by secretly shaving Hitler's moustache off or something  )

I'd change the results of about half my evenings out since the age of 14! But then again maybe not, where's the fun in that! Life is a learning exerience and i've probally learnt the most from my mistakes, or maybe i'm just in denial!:help: I just don't know.

I'd go back to 1987 when my folks were deciding what Secondary school to send me to, and get them to send me somewhere this end of town rather than a school all the way up Norton.

Or maybe get them to at least have given me the chance to TRY Myers Grove before assuming I wouldn't have coped and bundling me off to Gleadless Valley which I hated all 5 years of (sorry DaBouncer).

In 1987, telling a girl "Yes" instead of breaking her heart (her words) with "No"

things i would have done differently.....i would have waited longer before i lost my virginity....one of the bigest regrets on my life.

i would have made my dad take me to wembely to see SUFC play against SWFC in 1993.

not flunked out of college.

listened to my dad more.

never started smoking pot.

I'd have persuaded my parents not to move away from Lowestoft when I was seven and kept up with all my childhood friends..

... hmmm..:(

actually same here with the childhood friends - moved away from leicester in 1985 and never went back to see my old mates who i grew up with for the first 12 years of my life :(

I'd go back to my wedding night and not do a runner this time, but stay with my bride instead of nipping away from the reception and going to the pub with some 'mates'.

I would dearly have loved to go back to the last day at my previous job and punch my manager in the nose.

I'd do it all again, but only if I could keep the memories of what I did the first time.

I'd love to go back to 1978 and watch Blyth Spartans when they nearly got to the 1/4 finals of the FA Cup against Arsenal

....glory days for a team of pitmen

I would to back to this time last year when my future self dictated to me the method for inventing the chronophone - paradoxically the very instrument he used to call me; and this time I would pay attention, instead of dismissing it as another crank call from "that nutcase". :(

I think we all do that. don't let it worry you. i think it's rare for it to be the right person the first time. otherwise we'd all only ever have sex with one person.

Yeah and that isn't neccessarily a good thing as you'd always wonder what someone else was like...
Shame I thought he was the right one at the time!!! :loopy:

The current 'one' is nearly always the right 'one'. Its only when we are back in our right minds and not blinded by love/lust that our sound judgement returns and we think clearly once more! Then we see people for what they really are.

Do you think it is possible to be entirely happy to lose your virginty to one person and stay with that person? Or would you have to end it so you could sleep with other people?

Those moments in your life when you have arguments or heated discussions :D and think of the perfect retort several days after the incident has occured... boy would I go and give some people a piece of my mind... not thats there's much left these days :loopy: :D

I dunno theres not a great deal I would change despite all the rubbish stuff, because its our triumphs over the rubbish stuff that makes us what we are, if everything was just gravy all the time life would be quite dull

...chances are if I went back I'd probably end up changing the course of history and bringing nothing but doom and destruction to the whole of mankind... like spitting a bit of chewing gum in the primordial soup of man then the whole world would be populated by Mr Soft type characters :loopy:
I'll be quiet now
