I used to, but got fed up of a server going down and losing all of my attributes. Good game apart from that

Don't play it but know of people who do. Unreal Tournament 2004 is the one to waste time on - especially the free Red Orchestra mod... if you like the idea of WWII sims.

i wouldn't pay for it but a friend lent me his details and i admit it's quite addictive, i prefer more pick up and play games though as i don't always have hours to waste.

Bought it, played it for about 2 weeks, uninstalled it, not touched it since....

the game its self is ok, a little slow and boring at times, but what spoils it for me is 99% of the community... they are total jurks. (not saying its any of you lot) but any raids i was in or anything, its all Greed..

I play quite a bit and it can be very addictive (though not so much now since I had my son!)
I guess if you are on the right server with the right people it's fine. I play on Hellscream and everyone seems alright on there. We don't have any jerks in our guild as they don't get invited, and you always have the option to ignore people.

I got addicted to another mmo called neocron, and in hindsight it was a **** game, just addictive. Wouldnt want to think how addicted i would be to a supposedly decent mmo. Enemy Teritory is the way to go, ww2 fps game thats free! ID were going to charge for it but they buggerd up the single player, they had splash damage working on the multiplayer so they just release that for free.

I was addicted to it at one point and I uninstalled it because I didn't like how much time it was taking from me. I've got it reinstalled now but really only play it for a few hours a week, usually at the weekend if I have nothing to do during the day.

It's a fun game but I don't think I'll play it for much longer. When I leave I'll make someone happy by giving them loads of free gold and items ;)

ET is a fantastic game although I haven't played it in a fair while (I might have to reinstall it now). When they designed it they really thought it through and you have to work as a team to get anything done.

I'm looking forward to the new ET:Quake Wars game, I've seen a rolling demo of it and the gameplay looks very similar to ET. Some of the things in it look to be nicked directly from ET, such as having to construct a bridge for an APC to cross.

Team Fortress 2 looks like it might be special as well.

Ive seen a few demos of quake wars but im not impressed. The movement to me appeared to be more like fear than et, it seemed slower. The next best fps will prob be rtcw2 if its anything like the original but thats proberly out mid 2007.

I'm sure my partner's brother and his girlfriend think I'm addicted, as every time they drop in I'm playing, but it's just bad timing, honest ;)

I've got a 60 Warrior and a 50 Shaman and I've quit playing now. Might take it back up for BC, but I've found its not a game you can play for 5 minutes.

You grind upto 60 and then sit in Orgrimmar shouting LFG over and over. Gets a bit tedious but has its moments imo.

Counter Strike:Source and Dawn of War are also winners.

Whats the server called? I play on Deathstorm (free server) but only 35 people can log on.

I have just got into it, I really like it, used to play on Guild Wars but IMO I think WoW is a darn site better, and I have been lucky in that I have managed to find very helpful people on the server, don't ask me which, not sure.

never really got into mmorpg's, never really got into the open ended stuff like morrowind either

I think the only one I'm really addicted to is Thief which is an older single person game

I've just tried the 14 day free trial of Eve and was impressed..but can see that a lot of people would get bored pretty quick with it. For me it brought back the days of playing Elite, only on a bigger scale.

Will sign up to Eve soon (convincing my guildies on Wow to give it a shot too as something do do as an alternate every couple of nights). How much is it per month?

Burning Sea looks interesting, and I can't wait for Warhammer MMORPG (huge fan of the RPG of Warhammer). In addition, heard news of a Serenity MMORPG a couple of months back..if done right that could be amazing.
