Did anyone go?? It was fab. Just wondering what you thought of it. The other guitarist, I thought was really odd, not only did he play left handed but he also had it strung upside down. How weird is that! He could have just played a right handed guitar, left handed, but no, he played left handed guitars, strung right-handed!
Eric Rocks! :headbang:

I'd of gone to see Clapton, but not at the insane price of £50.

Ronan Keating at the Arena is £25 per ticket.

To my mind that makes Clapton damn good value for money.

:D

Thought they were fantastic! I wanna learn to play the 13 steel string pedal guitar now!! (Think that's what it's called).

I've seen Clapton about 7 or 8 times and he's one of my favourites. Last saw him at the Arena about 8 years ago. Thing is though, I've gone off stadium rock, not just the prices but also the lack of intimacy etc. These days I'd much rather see a guitarist in a small smoky blues club.
I used to go to Barnsley Blues club but it closed a few years ago. Saw a couple of great guitarists there, Catfish Keith & Kent DuChaine. Cost about £4 to get in and sat about 10 feet from the stage.
Anything similar in Sheffield ?
