police at hillsborough corner and an area tapped off anyone know why?

I saw that on the way to work this morning too. The bridge next to Legends is all taped off. Couldn't see any structural damage - perhaps someone was thrown/jumped in? Anyone know what happened?

I saw this also. There was only one officer stood outside the tape. didnt seem to be much else happening.

Hope the victim is okay as okay can be if they have been shot . From what I can summmerise it must have happened at 8 .30 ish as it was breaking news at 9.00 . The worrying thing is my children were in that area as would be many on their way to school.

Walked past it on the way back from the New Barrack Tavern at about 11 last night. Four police cars on the scene and a crowd of about thirty people milling around outside the bar. We assumed it was a bit of a fight, but hearing about the shooting certainly makes me wonder what the couple outside Chatanogas were talking about when they used the term: "Two years" and were getting all emotional.

That did not happen. Leeds passing through is all. 30 'risk' element drinking in Legends, who then got the tram to BL. No issues.

I stand by my comment, if that is the case justice should prevail and they should face up to their crime, however until further details are known aspersions should not be cast - try to have some consideration for their family or friends if they were innocently going about their business.

I didn't notice anything at about 1:40pm when I came round Hillsborough corner.

Just been in the HSBC in Hillsborough and u wouldn't have known that anything had happened in that area no police or anything. xx

:( The shooting was all about a stupid something that has been said.
After the victim had been to the Blue Ball on the oppisite side of the road he walked past Legends.
Something was said to him on which he replied then another bloke came out of legends who had a shotgun hidden in his jeans :confused: (how can you hide that?)and shot the victim.
The victim then dropped and thought he was hit with a glass for someone else was stood at the door with a glass in his hand.
His mate picked him up and took him home on request for they didn't realise it was a shot wound.His mum tried to clean him up but couldn't so they took him to hospital where the nurse found out he had a shot wound in his neck.
Sickning and worrying if you ask me.:gag:

Well I heard it was a pellet gun. :rolleyes: Somebody said something they shouldnt from a car and said air pistol person shot out the back window and it did hit him in the back of the head/neck. He was fine.
