My current contract on my phone has just reached 12 months so I am looking to upgrade. I currently use O2 online and find it pretty cheap. I pay £20 a month on their old online offpeak500 tarriff. If I upgrade with them I can get another free phone but need to chose a new tarriff (more expensive or same cost but less for your money)

Anyone aware of any good deals around?

I don't use it that much in the day but it's handy to have for emergencys etc.

I'm not a phone snob but want a decent (and free if possible!) one!

Anyone??

Thanks

Apparently 3Pay is good or so I've heard... I've heard good things about their PAYG tarriff, but I hear you can't get it without buying a 3 phone, but I don't want video calling as I doubt I'd ever use it so I can't see the point really.

With contracts, act as though you aren't totally interested, or that you can get a better deal elsewhere. You can easily get £50 or more off the shelf price of a phone.

Have you tried going to www.dialaphone.co.uk they have decent offeres on different networks and most phones are free. Some of the top range camera phones ask a small fee around £50 but you can get a really nice phone for free. I've used them for last couple of years and been pleased with the service. Everything can be done on line and will be delivered very quickly.

I've just got my new Sony Ericsson T630, free from O2 online. It's 25 quid a month, with 100 minutes to any network at any time, and 500 text messages with up to 125 free media messages within that. And 3 months free insurance.

This tariff is ideal for me as I text much more than I ring.

It's an absolutely gorgeous phone!
