Hi there

Do you need to contact the council or register somewhere when you move into a new house (letting)? I am new to this and could use some help here.

Is there a need to register in the phone book or something? Call the council?

Thanks for the help!

Youri

You will need to register to pay Council Tax. If you wish you may also register on the electoral roll so that you can vote.

Have a look at www.sheffield.gov.uk

Yes. Or you can just wait until they send the forms out to register around October time, you don't have to register to vote straight away - obviously council tax is a different matter!
