going to a fancy dress party - any ideas?

i've seen a "Fat Hoola girl" outfit - with padding etc. that looks pretty cool!

Does a fancy dress costume have to be pretty? surley the stupider the better. I love dressing up, it's great fun.

Nah, you need to be way more original than that. A friend hired a garfield costume for my birthday last year, it was hilarious, the head and tail were huge! (dressed up as cartoon characters for my birthday)

I went to a fancy dress party where everyone dressed as something which began with the same letter as the host's name. She was called Carol so there were the predictable cats and cowboys but also chalk and cheese, Cindy Crawford, etc.

was thinking of going as Fidel Castro! -
- slight browning (more dirty looking than black)
- army outfit
- funny hat
- cuban cigar
- bit of a beard

but still liking trevor MacDonald - it would have to be good though - otherwise people would just think i was strange!!

How about Homer Simpson, It looks really good and its so easy. get a 'bold cap' then paint yrself yellow(including the bald cap), add a few strands of brown wool for the whispy bits of hair, paint around yr chin and mouth light brown, all u need then is blue trousers .. available at any charity shop and a shirt thats too tight around yr belly, dont forget to wear a vest thats well padded and painted yellow under yr shirt.
