This is about that big building with the huge chimney and curved roofs that has been expanded over the past few months near the end of the parkway, it looks like an incinerator?

About 2 months ago one evening I drove past it and it had the most amazing rainbow coloured band of lights going round it. But I only ever saw the light that one night. It looked amazing as you came down the parkway, as the colours gradually changed from one side of the building to the other, around the top. Has anyone else seen this or know if they are going to become a permanent feature?

No idea what it was, but I'll keep an eye out for it, sounds cool.

well I am really glad you saw this ! It was a spectacular sight coming on to the parkway. I have not seen it since and was beginning to wonder if i really had seen it!!!

My housemate used my computer before me, whoops.

THe lights were amazing because they seemed to be built in to the building, in strips, with really vivid colours. I was also thinking am I going mad! It is amazing and would be a great thing for people to see coming in to sheffield (as long as they don't then realise it is an incinerator)!

Maybe the rainbow lights are there to welcome the greenpeace lot who seem to be rather fond of climbing the place.

I noticed these a few months ago, you can see them from my spare bedroom, tried to take photos but my cameras rubbish, I was wondering what they were for myself...
