Just my luck that I've found a new scratch on my car that's happened whilst its being laid up over winter, it's quite visable as its right on the front colour coded bumper, just wondered how others deal with scratches on their cars ?

Do you get all mad ? or think oh well ?

Bumpers were once designed to protect the car from very minor bumps without causing costly damage. Nowadays repairs to a bumper cost a fortune!

I tend just to ignore minor scratches.

I panic if it is a show car (which I am without at the moment), how deep is it?

Talking about bumpers I have spent some of the weekend helping the other half prep up the Maestro turbo bumpers, hard work to say the least. I got the easy bit though, the spoiler :D He has been working on the side skirts.

Thats why I'm panicking, it's taken the paint off and gone down to the black plastic of the bumper, I dont think I'll get away with touch up paints, its a shame its happened, suppose that'll teach me to keep it in my dads garage.

I usually just get my boyfriend to repair any damage. He works at John Bee Motor Engineers on Abbeydale Road, Millhouses. He does come in handy at times.
