I am writing a referance list for one of my essays and have got a bit stuck, the book has a lot of authors so in my work I put the first name then et al, my question is what do I put in the list at the end, I remember being told not to put et al so do I have to write them all out?

Cheers in advance.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, couldn't decide where to put it.

In the bibliography, you write out all the authors in full.

Maybe you already have This (http://www.shef.ac.uk/library/libdocs/hsl-dvc1.pdf)

I did have that but couldn't find it at home or on the website, thanks titan.

Thank you Hecate that is what I thought you had to do but it went on forever and I begun to doubt myself.

Thanks Titian, you know, you'd think they'd hand these things out to us wouldn't you?! I hate referencing, especially as there is a different way for both Psychology and Spanish

bjshooter, do you have a problem with the letter 'i' on your keyboard....it's missing in "bibliography" in the title to this thread, and you've just called Titian, Titan?

Sorry Ann:blush: I have mentioned in other threads that I do have spelling issues, but I have to admit that they were both typos not spelling mistakes, maybe the 'i' was on strike.
