View Full Version : Shipwrecked! on Channel 4 / E4
StarSparkle 15-04-2006, 18:27 Is anybody else hooked on this programme? :o
It's so very embarrassing, but I've become an avid fan over the last 2-3 weeks.
Looks like they had fantastic fun! :D

Ive watched it on and off for past few weeks! Looks great being stuck in a gorgeous place like that but Id end up strangling some of them!
I admit it, im an addict too. That Charlie is vannoying though. x
bjshooter 15-04-2006, 20:36 I am completely hooked too, I really want the sharks to win, they are all miss fits and were so far behind at one point the programme looked like it was over before it had begun. The tigers all love themselves far too much for my liking.

Right with you!
I must say though, my interest has only really been piqued since Gareth  joined the castaways! Tries to put lascivious thoughts aside :D
I can't believe it's only on for around an hour a week though - Channel 4 or E4 should have an hour-long programme a day at least on, like with "Big Brother". They're missing a real trick there.
Go Sharks!
StarSparkle
Cant wait for todays episode, only a few houes to go! HA HA!!!
i am hooked too todays episode is supposed to be a good one.sharks to win
StarSparkle 16-04-2006, 13:52 What a FANTASTIC episode! Really enjoyed all the shenanigans - and when the Sharks came out of the sea en masse to rescue Anna from those beastly Tigers -
Drama, drama, drama!
Poor old John though :( - but I'm sure he'll do his best to make life hell for the Tigers!
Go Sharks!

bjshooter 16-04-2006, 19:46 I didn't think it was fair that the sharks had to lose John and the tigers lost Kevin who they were going to lose anyway, lets hope John causes trouble for them.
I was a bit confused, Kevin was going anyway, as you said, so that wasnt really a loss! I havnt really ntoiced john before, is he fairly new?

The whole punishment thing did seem very unfair to the Sharks, as they lost a founder member and totally dedicated Shark, ie John, whereas the Tigers only lost Kevin, who had been planning to leave them that afternoon anyway.
I think the producers got it really wrong there.
As for John - I know what you mean, pdrnsf. He has apparently been there right from the beginning, but seems to have had a very low profile! He seems to be very much an all round, decent guy though, and I think the Sharks will really miss him.
Not sure I like the new arrival Zara.....

OH MY GOD, STAR SPARKLE, YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!!!!!
Oh, people often tell me that i sound like im from Leeds (i am originally from Scarborough, lived in Sheffield a couple of years) and if i sound like her............................................... kill me now!
Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She just sounds awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eugh!!!
God, i cant believe i didnt mention that woman!
last week ,all square what do people think will happen, watching highlights at end of todays show looks like jo might defect after all to pay the sharks back,i hope not though
bjshooter 30-04-2006, 16:59 She best not do, really want the sharks to win, and usually the team that has the new arrival first gets them, so sharks should win if jo doesn't swap sides, I don't think she will, will she?
i hope not ,i want sharks to win too
StarSparkle 30-04-2006, 17:27 Shaping up to be very interesting next week.....
Ooh, that Jo! I will be FASCINATED to see if she turns traitor at the last moment and goes to the Tigers! :nono:
In a way though - and I hate to say this really - I will quite admire her game-playing ability if she does. It may be she's decided to play a long game with the Sharks to get revenge on them for their treatment of her brother Geoff - who wasn't accepted by the tribe in the early weeks of the programme, and was forced to go home in the end.
Perhaps she's decided to wreak family revenge by scuppering the Sharks' chances at the final hurdle. Don't think it'll happen though - I don't think Jo's that ruthless, to be honest!
StarSparkle
bjshooter 30-04-2006, 17:36 I must admit that I found it quite strange when Jo picked the sharks in the first place, and she is quite quiet and distant, so you never know.
I'm not keen on Jo, think she should have stuck up for her brother more!
I like Katie best - she's a sweetie! And Chris Badu (sp)
x
