Although some of you are probably already aware of this product, I stumbled across a program called IESpell on a cover disc today. This completely free program works with Internet Explorer and allows you to use a spell checker when posting on sites like Sheffield Forum. Once you've installed it, simply close and re-open your browser. You then simply right-click your mouse button in the area where you type your message and it gives you the option to check the spelling - in fact, I'm about to right click and check this right now.

If you want to download it (it's will only take around 5 minutes even on dial-up) then go to: http://www.iespell.com/download.php

Alternatively it's on this month's PC Pro cover disc.

Hope this helps and I'm not for one minute implying anyone here needs one :P

(Remember it will work on any web site where you have a box to enter your text, so eBay, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, other forums etc.)

(And no, I'm not on commission - because it's free ;) )

Great, this'll save me opening up Word every time I write a long post. Cheers G.

t020 comes free to all forum members too. A great spell checker.

t020, if i wanted a spell checker, i think i would uncheck the box marked "extra arrogance".

I think i will use the new checker to be honest, it might save me having to read another of you pointless posts trying to show your imagined superiority by pointing out perfectly understandable mistakes. I mind because these mistakes don't make the post any less able to be read.

Give it a rest, i'm sure you know you only are doing it to troll and incite rage in another forum member, it isn't nice and is really not needed.

Boo hoo!!! Someone just spat their dummy and needs mommy. I will now proceed to uncheck the "self righteous clown" box to avoid seeing any further outbursts.
