View Full Version : The Best thing in the world.
I can't tell you how much i love my bed! For me, it's the best invention ever - I can eat in it, i can watch telly in it, i can read and write in it, It's there when im ill when im sad and when i just want to jump up and down.
It's great to hide in and even better for abit of hanky panky . . . ok, alot of hanky panky.
Somebody suggested sleeping in it the other day!?
What couldn't you do without?
mimicraze 28-04-2004, 21:26 i cudnt do without my bed. theres no way, i am with you on every single point there lestat. its the most heavenly thing! especially with my bloke in it, all cuddled up, wow! but the other thing i cudnt live without is my rabbit. no chance!
How embarrassing . . . . . . . ( vanished into a small sheep ) . .

little malc 29-04-2004, 08:06 Now i'm getting an old git I don't really like going to bed, my grandad told me beds were only good for two things, making babies in and dying in. I know iv'e definately finished making babies so!!!
I couldn't live without food. Yum!:P
SaxonLeigh 29-04-2004, 13:29 in a morning i hate getting out of my bed & at night i hate having to go to bed, like i've said on another post, i used to spend well over 15 hours in bed, i've spent a whokle weekend in bed once. but now i'm not bothered, i feel like i'm wasting my life away spending so much time there. yes i agree it is a great place for makin babies & yes its always there when i'm ill but it aint going help me get anywhere in life.
jackthedog 29-04-2004, 13:32 Nah, the best thing in the world is the Pinzgauer 716M.
I'd sell my bed to get hold of one of those.
ZEDEX48K 29-04-2004, 14:26 The bed yes. But with a women with a fine tonned figure in some sexy racy underwear just waiting for it to be taken off. Nothing beats that! :)
Sam Miguel 29-04-2004, 14:29 I've thought about this deeply and have come to the conclusion that the one thing I need more than anything else is the ability to breathe.
Life just wouldn't be the same without it.
BrainThrust 30-04-2004, 00:58 The best thing in the world is my bed.
Sure, it may be covered in books, clothes piled up around it so that it looks more like a mound than a bed but it's big, warm, comfy and has too many pillows that should be allowed. I can't think of anything much better than staying in bed just being lazy.
It is a pity that i get headache if i stay in bed fully awake too long, otherwise i doubt i'd ever leave it.

The best thing in the world is fur. No question. Imagine a world withou it - we've all seen pictures of those cats with no fur - now imagine the rest of the animal kingdom without it - bears, dogs, badgers, otters. Oh no, otters don't have fur do they. Maybe it's not fur then.
OK, it's bed.

God no. Its all fingers and no soul.
Chris. :)
thenewborn 02-05-2004, 19:32 i agree with chris, steve is all flash, but does nothing for me, i prefer players that can play solos, but that matc the osng instead of "ooo look at how fast i can go". like slash, and brian may

I would agree that many of the guitarists from the Joe Satriani school are boring and soulless. However, Steve Vai is different for several reasons.
He came up through the ranks of Frank Zappa's band and so, as you'd expect, his playing is quirky and full of humour.
It's pointless to compare Vai with a pedestrian player like Slash, who may have an ear for melody (when he's not too out of it), but can hardly be called a serious guitarist.
A good compromise between flash and taste would be Jeff Beck. Still great after all these years.

As rare as it may be i agree with you entirely mojo.
still i do hate twiddle lead guitarists that just play pointless solos just to show how fast their fingers can move. yeah well done, now go and play something that actually sounds good.
(can you tell i play rhythm?)
