Someone at my wifes work has been messing with her phone and tried their sim card in it....

Result, an error message saying "phone freeze sim unavailable, please contact your service provider"

We have tried calling vodaphone who have no idea what the problem is

Does anyone have any idea what could be the fault - and hopefully a solution.

Thanks in advance.

I take it this is with your wifes sim back in it? With some (most) phones you can set sim security to prevent either the sim from working in any other phone or any other sim working in your phone. The only way I can think to clear it is to reset the phone via the menus, which I'm assuming you can't get to?

Nope, that message is all it says.

I did find a way to do it on there, but I dont have serial/com ports on my laptop.

Just wondering if I take it to one of those places that unlock them if that would fix it...
