Can anyone answer me this, why have arsenal bought Theo Walcott but he has yet to play for the first team?

SWP is a different matter - he was an established Prem player when Chelsea bought him. Walcott has played a handful of championship games. Given Wenger's track record in developing young talent I think we'll be seeing quite a lot of Walcott in the next year or two.

Given Wenger's track record of developing English talent I think we'll be seeing almost nothing of Walcott in the next year or two before he gets involved in petty crime and is sold to a relegation threatened team desperate enough to take a gamble on him.

maybe true but wengers not there to develop english players - he is there to win games and cups for arsenal.

agree that walcot is an investment (and different from swp) - just coincidence that he is english
