Did anyone manage to make it down to the Seni Show in Birmingham this weekend? If so what did you think of the demos?

I thought that the Ashley Beck, Chloe Bruce and the XMA Team just stole the show. But then again im biased, because I like to flip :-)

I went, someone I know got Bronze in the middleweight white belt gracie open competition.

Good stalls, interesting demos, bought some throwing knives and the SO got a boken.

I went on last Saturday and I found out it was very commercial. It is rubbish from a martial art practitioner's point of view.

It was good in the first three years. There were a lot of clubs, you name it, from Japanese. Korean, Thai to Chinese kung fu.

It is highly unlikely that I shall go next year.

i thought it was v.good, bit mainstream i agree, but you go to see what your interested in, nice to hear the systema guys telling the kung fu people they have spent years only learning to dance, (look at him dancing), lol, the british army martial arts, cool, passionate, the iaido stole the show for me i did enjoy the xma very inspiring, but i liked the musashi story aswell as only imagining having that kind of peace inside of you, well maybe when im older??

took part in a fantastic real jeet kune do seminar, and laughed my ass off at sanjuro the complete and utter d+++ head. destroying everything and people clapped.
