The View was the venue for the 2003/2004s Electric Soul parties - absolutely wicked venue. Had a very spiritual moment for Theo Parrish's set!

re: 1st club - I'm sad to say - was Uropa in Leeds when I was 16 (GCSE results day!)

I think my taste might have improved (depends who you ask...)

I was 17 and it was Kiki's and it became a regular occurance after that and I also went to Isabella's around the same time

About 8 for a show i did in Romeo and Juliets and then stayed for the nightclub after for a while. I remember being impressed by all the red and blue velvet.

9/10 ish pop and crisps afternoon at Tiffanys in Rotherham. Also used to go to peppermint park there and Tiffanys on london road.

Proper clubbing probably the leadmill aged about 13. Went to see the Housemartins there and stayed for the club after. I went with two of my then teachers!

15...Went to good old Berlins with a pre-visit to the Metz Bar next door. I spent 20 quid and thats including 4 quid for a taxi and 2 quid for a burger and chips....I was also drunk!

18, I'm a good girl don't ya know ;) went to The Gallery in York :D

14 At the Windmill in Rotherham (Sorry mum :blush:) (Now Tivoli:gag: ) We used to pay 2p (Childs bus fare) and get off the bus opposite the night club and it was 50p to get in. I also used to go to a Pop 'n' Crisp night on Mondays when I was about 15 at Tiffanys in Rotherham (don't think that counts though) Where we used to boogie away to Chic, Patrick Hernandez and other great disco classics! Ahh those were the days:D

15 on my birthday to Fanny's (before anybody says anything it was a nightclub at Owler Bar) and went every thurs, fri, sat for about 3yrs and then started going to Pennies, Turn Ups and Romeo and Juliets. God i am old!!!!

I was 16 and went to Capitol (now Plug) with a few mates. We did a pub crawl around town first and got served everywhere. It was so relaxed compared to now ;)

The first time I got served in a pub was when I was fifteen, about a fortnight after starting work. Once we knew we could get served we used to go every Friday night without fail - some of the bar staff knew we were underage but never said owt. :thumbsup: Thanks

At 16 I started going to the Crazy Daisy. At least twice a week and Saturday afternoons too! Drank Cherry B and Pony (the drink with a kick) They were good times. Any guy in a mohair jumper was cool! I mean HOT!

JD's :o - I went there for millenium new years eve (only cos freedom at the winter gardens was charging £45 on the door when tickets had only been £20 before), and what a mistake that was! £20 to get in, it was absolutly empty and i ended up completely deaf in one ear for 8 days afterwards because the music had been so loud and just echoing around the walls since there were only about 20 people there all night. and on top of that my boyfriend at time had ended up staying in the village (where it turned out to be a great night at my local apparently) and got with a schoolgirl that night who he was then seeing behind my back :cry: Oh well at least JD's has long since been closed down :D

Yep, we ALL got ID'd, Claire was buzzin about it but I wasn't, while they were deliberating wether we were old enough or not, I was getting pee'd wet through and my hair was getting bigger and bigger arghhh damn that rain!!!

I would have been about 14. We used to go to the Wapentake on a saturday afternoon, and Rebels on a Weds and Sat night. Used to walk thru town under the hole in the road to catch the late bus back to Stocksbridge at 2am! those were the days.

I was 14 and it was Capital. I can remember going into Europa the week after and was highly disturbed that men as old as my dad were hitting on me!! (I mean Id stuffed my bra I was that tiny!! 6 stone wet through!)

Non of you have lived, i was a member of "THE KONS KLUB" of Clowne at 14!! i worked in Josphines and Harvy's in rotherham from the age of about 6, infact thats where i learnt to walk.......this may be something to do with me liking larger!

I was 4 in 1990. I went to an acid house night at the venue in Cardiff. Got offered my first trip. To be honest I got a bit paranoid. The tunes were good enough though!

14,started going to the drop at the city hall,the palais and the leadmill.Also started on Glastonbury at 14,with my 13 year old sister.My Mum said we could only go if she came,and loved it! I do kind of think we grew up too fast,but don't really regret anything.Looking back I guess we did grow up too fast,Mum and Dad tried to fight us off doing this,but it just made us rebel more.When I think back of what I got up to between 14-17 I find it hard to imagine kids around me of that age doing,or being able to handle doing those things,But to me at the time it was perfectly natural.Strangers might say I was too young,but I was street wise and mature.I do kind of wish I had finnished my education and got good qualifications ,well paid job etc,but I've always been a bit of a misfit and the normal life plan doesn't really suit me.I have some fantastic memories!!and maybe I'l make it back to uni when my youngest (of three kids) sarts school.Then I can start going clubbing again! My life seems to run in a rather higgley-pigedly fashion.But I truly have no regrets! At 15 I loved hallucigens(I know I'm not meant to tell the world this,but too bad i did!!)and at that age I had no responsabilities,or life/money worries,to interfere with my thoughts.My brain could just open up and relax.Theres know way my head could take it now,I have too many responsabilities.which would completely interfere with any trip.So I am really glad I did all that stuff when I did.Saying that my oldest is 7,so closer to that age than I am now,and like every parent the the thought of my own kids doing all that I did at the same age fills me with fear!!

think i was either 12 or 13 when i first went to a 'proper' club in town.. how i got in i do not know.. hated it though. first out of 2 times going to kingdom i was 14 i think and started going to corporation on a regular basis, first to k-corp then to proper corp shortly after that. (got asked for ID at corp the other day for the first time ever, only been going there regularly for the last 3 years - since i was 15!)

13 corporation, never got asked for id but my 18 year old mate did lol, niche at 15. not rate bothered now im 18, once in a blue moon and that, id much rather be in pub.

16. 'Raffles' at Ingoldmells. A much vaunted, but actually crap, laser show. Lots of Kylie, Jason, Brother Beyond disco mixes coming from a DJ who had clearly raided Frank Mcavennies wardrobe. Every drink watered down. A fog pervading the place of Lynx and desperation.

Didnt stay too long, the main purpose of the place was for the holidaymakers to find someone to take back to their caravan. I wasnt a bad-looking lad at the time. Being local, that was the only kind of club I had any option to go to, and til I left the place a coupla years later, thought that thats what ever club was about. Subsequent spells in Glasgow, Nottingham and Sheffield opened me eyes up properly to the real world, and never looked back since.

Every now and then, a trip to a really really ****e nightclub in some provincial dump is in order (any club called L*v*ngst*n*s, Z*nz*b*r, Ch*c*g*s or J*mp*n J*cks fits the bill nicely) just to make me thankful I've got access to a few good clubs here

16 at Berlins (now fuel) went had a horride vodka drink was sick in loos got chatted up by an old man got scared then walked home and then didnt go to a club again till i was about 18. told my mum that i had learnt my lesson.

i was 16 Destiny and Elite (better known as Desperate and Easy lol); in Ellesmere Port. Not the best place in the world, but exceptable when totally drunk.

And the 1st proper dance club i went to at the age of 17 was Air (Godskitchen) in Birmingham. Now that was such an amazing night and place, had an brilliant night.

Still 17 I also went to Gatecrasher in sheffiled and Passion in Coalville.

Got around at that age lol

I was 14, and it was at 'Sunday Service' at a club in Covent Garden, London http://www.rockgarden.co.uk but think I only got in because it was my brother's club night there. He had the club every Sunday and Monday.... was a fun night though!!! He's a wicked DJ, or was until he gave it up a few years ago. Think he said he might be getting back into it again though, but without the decks, and using his Mac instead!

Nah the Jillys club bit still exists, it is just next door to the Music box, which puts on most of the gigs.

I was about 14 for The Underground at The George Hotel in my hometown Macclesfield. Before it got shut down for underage drinking.
