Printed on the night? Was it organised well? Thank you. Sue x Powerage 09-07-2012, 12:27 My daughter had one done at her prom it was good enough quality, it was delivered by hand about a week later , which was quite suprising. Can't comment on the price as I have no idea what it cost. Jobean 09-07-2012, 19:44 I work at a school. Had ours done on the night, ready one hour later. £15 for 2 prints. Looked lovely! Very well organised, just a bit larger than postcard size. Bypassblade 09-07-2012, 19:48 Yet another "Americanism" that has invaded our shores, we had good old fashioned end of school year dances. Usually accompanied by the customary inter-school punch up afterwards at a pre-arranged destination fueled by large amounts of cheap cider and lager. Those were the days. Twitcher 09-07-2012, 21:06 My daughter queued for an hour, wasted an hour at her prom. The photographer was unprofessional, the photos were set against a dire backdrop and when they had their group photo taken all you could see was the top of her head. This ruined the night for her on 2 counts, time wasting and money wasting, the photo was appalling and a waste of money, on top of which she has to collect from the school. If you were to ask her she'd tell you not to waste time with them. SiSiSi 09-07-2012, 22:30 The OP still hasn't told us why she'd like to know.... I think the ideas of a school prom is lovely, we never had them in my day, but I hate the competative element and all the money that goes to waste. I wish all parents would draw a line, it does the kids no good to have potloads of money spent on them. Why not make it a rule that the girls have to make their own dress and the boys have to learn at least three or four proper dances? aliceBB 09-07-2012, 23:36 Why not make it a rule that the girls have to make their own dress and the boys have to learn at least three or four proper dances? Because they would be very sparsely attended, that's why! poppins 10-07-2012, 01:31 Usually accompanied by the customary inter-school punch up afterwards at a pre-arranged destination fueled by large amounts of cheap cider and lager. Those were the days. I don't remember those days, I was at St Patrick's at Lane Top we had running races the last day, that was it, no dances ,cider and larger, you were lucky Bypassblade 10-07-2012, 09:34 Usually accompanied by the customary inter-school punch up afterwards at a pre-arranged destination fueled by large amounts of cheap cider and lager. A prom is just that still but a bit more smarter. Still a waste of money though. Anna B 10-07-2012, 10:51 :hihi:Because they would be very sparsely attended, that's why! :hihi: You have a point.. |
