hey :wave: i'm new to this forum, just wondered how many people here go to Fuzz club? i go most weeks when i can make it, jägermeister = £1 = my heaven :)

are there any other fans of this rock haunt?

I used to go a year or so ago, but the indie room stopped being good so we all stopped going for some reason. They were good times actually, i normally had fun there. :)

I went a bit last year, but stopped after experiencing one of my worst nights in living memory.

I've heard it's got a lot better since then though...

I used to lead the product team for Fuzz Club about 4 years ago doing the promotion and recommending new bands which looked set to become big. Those were the days :)

Used to be out at Fuzz Club everyweek getting slightly anebriated, then onto Republic at around 1am in the morning to flyer those leaving a rival event.

i'm there pretty much every week. rarely find me in the indie room though.. but might start venturing in there a bit more..

anyone know of any guys into make up? eyeliner in particular...
there seems to be a definite shortage at the moment and that sucks!!

i always hope to find them at Fuzz but rarely happens....oh well i'll cry into my jägermeister :p

Where is the fuzz club and whats the best night to visit?

Fuzz Club is Thursday nights at Shef uni. Two rooms. One 'Indie' (including bands), one 'metal', though actually plays quite a variety of alt music. Tequila is also a quid, plus Carling and JD is cheap. Tickets are three quid in advance from the uni box office. You can show a ticket to the security guy instead of a uni card on the night. I go. A lot.

erm, about 5'11 or summat. dark hair, though i'm ALWAYS wearing a black beanie. Oh, i've kinda got a beard as well. Sort of stocky build I suppose. WHat about you?

I went to a gig there a while back, and stayed for the indie bit for an hour or so.

Twas quite good, if not a little packed (cos there were people from the gig *and* the club night as well

Fuzz Clus is cool, most of the time. It just gets so hot and woo, cramped, no room to do the crazy dance. I sound a bit old there? I'm in the indie room mainly, although the last time I went they played OutKast which confused me. I thought I'd been transported to Repulblic.

Unfortunately my dissertation is keeping me from going at the moment :(

They play Hey Ya everywhere, at nearly every club night I've been to - even the (supposedly) cool ones.

But then, it's a great song!

Outkast are class! but i dont know about the indie scene . . kinda scary. I would have come down this Thurs to check it out but am working so maybe next week eh.
