Cant see any reason why most snooker club wouldn't let a 13 year old in,i've never come across a age limit before.

the newish one in hillsborough has some sort of family membership option, so children must be allowed in.

I expect they just aren't allowed in the bar area.

There is a riley snooker club just next to the lescar pub in huntersbar my bro goes there often and hes 14 he goes with all his friends ive been in its a clean friendly atmosphere doesnt follow the smoky drunken stereotype of snooker clubs. Try it and its really cheap with loads of tables

Trickshots at Hillsborough do training for kiddies I think...
Big sign plastered to the side saying "Steve Harrison Champion Snooker player, coaching sessions for (whatever age)"

I used to go to the rileys on mansfield rd for a game of snooker up until a year ago, butthen they put the prices up again to around£5. Now i refuse to go for novices like me that a rip off. I'd only get two games into an hour, so £2.50 a game isn't an option. Furthermore they don't do kids prices so this does'nt encoursge kids to take it up, as most just cant afford it. Oh and soft drinks are £2.

If you go up to rileys during the day you can play till 6pm for £8. There prices for the snooker are a bit steep but for pool players like me i dont have much choice.
