a group of us are heading to town on saturay - just wondered if anyone knew of any places that will have some good live music or is that a weekday thing? the crowd are more into rock and indie than other styles

i know only 2 places that do live gigs and they are PLUG and WEST ST LIVE not too sure if they have gigs on at the weekends though?

Plug have got Vincent Vincent on. I thinks it's 5 quid. Alos mothership who are an up and coming Sheffield band

The Complete Stone Roses are playing at the leadmill on Saturday night but not sure if it's a sell out. Seen them before, they are very good.

I'd be going if I'd not got a hen night to attend.

Thrash-metal legends Anthrax are playing at the Corporation. Oh no, sorry just realised you said 'indie'... errr, try The Grapes on Trippet Lane for indie shmindie bands.

Yes! I DJ a rock night at the Moorfoot Tavern. I also host live bands. This Saturday it is Exitstate - top rock band! Free entry and the beer is a good price too!
