Does anyone know if there are any good DnB nights in sheff these days as not been to on since nysushi stopped. Got some mates coming over soon who all used to go to sushi back in the day but no longer live in sheff.

Fri 7th April – Bass Bar Reunion @ Bar Sola, Feat. Daddy Freddy, Country Culture, DanMan & Fatta Sound

Our original plan for this event was to feature a Jamaican artist, on tour in Europe at this time. Since he was refused his Visa we have drafted in Living Legend and 5 times holder of the World Record for speed rapping, Daddy Freddy.

Support for this veteran comes from two of the sweetest voices in Reggae, Country Culture & DanMan. Country is fresh from supporting Desmond Dekker & The Aces last month at the Leadmill and due to his limited appearances in Sheffield, should not be missed. Dan Man has a similar style to Country, both sing rather than spit their lyrics. Dan Man’s recent tune made with Bongo Chilli ‘Got It Going On’ is getting rewinds wherever it gets played! Both will provide an excellent contrast to the manic pace of Freddy.

We also need to mention Fatta Universal Sound which will be the Soundsystem for the night. Fatta himself will be spinning his trademark heavyweight Dub during the show.
