There was no chance of working on the cars, what with showers on Sat and nearly raining all day Sunday.

I know,i was planning on "pottering" with the spitfire,but space is tight where it is so no chance of wheeling it out in that weather :rolleyes:
Mind you until i get this welding sorted and an mot,pottering with it is all i can do :|

Was hoping to try and get my turbo out on sun, looked fine first thing then the heaven's opened up. Now i'm back at work it's bloomin fine.

I don't know about other people but there is nothing more satisfying to spend the whole day valeting the car, and making it look nice then having come to admire it at shows.

very true.....I too have a car in boxes waiting for a rebuild, the 1977 Fiesta, but no chance of getting it out on the front with this risk of frost and rain we are still having. Need a long, hot and glorious week or summer to complete the task..........

We were trying to put a turbo diesel engine back together in the Maestro van. Thankfully we waited inside till it had stopped.

Much nicer today and I did see some classics on the road too.
