Does any1 know what's the sacryist(sp?) film is out at the mo, I am going to the pics 2moro night and want to be frightened!:suspect:

Was gona go and see Hostel but after reading what people said it's just gore & sex (not a bad thing) but no really scary bits!!

I love it, so yeah suppose I am a bit off my rocker, I love the suspense and the thrill then have to go home and sit with the lights on for a few hours till I am sure that the killer/phsyco *insert relevant baddie* isn't in my house!!!

Scary films are great, they get your heart going, it's good for you to be scared every now and again.

the hills have eyes seems pretty good.. one critic describes it as "terrifying"

Lol I'd not be able to sleep at night if I watched anything too scary! :P :blush: Its horrible feeling scared... not something I want to inflict on myself!

I like how they always have things like "...terrifying... (The Daily Mail)" or "...Horrific...you will scream (FHM)" in the adverts, where they have just cut the words they want out of a review that probably said "as terrifying as The Little Mermaid" or "the acting was horrific and you will scream with laughter"

Heard on radio 1 review that it was quite gory!!

Yas.. from the same director as cabin fever so pretty mcuh the same as that if uve seen it

I know, Cabin Fever was poor, very poor, QT is on the credits but I think it's only namesake.

The Americans thought Jeepers Creepers and the Ring was scary so I don't hold out much hope!!

I'm not very brave with scary films took me ages to be persuaded to watch saw and saw 2!! I am sure that many of u will probably think that they weren't too scary but they were to me - I am a scardey cat!!

there arent really ant scary films out at the mo.
hills have eyes is a little more scary/ jumpy than hostel, so that could be your best bet.

I think the problem is that if you watch a lot of horror films you become "imune" to them, you can see the jumps coming and the blood/guts/gore just isn't scarey, I sit there thinking "wow, that was quite realistic" not "Argghhhh! I can't look, it's so horrid".

I can't remember the last realy scarey film I saw, though The Grudge was quite good, it's the little kid in it who just gurgles, children in horror films are scarey.

Dont know if this one will be out at the cinema anytime soon.. but it is certainly
one of the most horrific films I've not seen yet - Suicide Vomit Dolls

Check out the website for it and give the trailer a viewing.

Its just weird.. I havent had a chance to watch it yet but I've heard its one of the most sickest films of all time.

Saw Hostel last night - not very scary or suspenseful, just violant. The Hills Have Eyes - scary, suspenseful and violant!!
Like another poster I prefer the "in your head" terror of the asian-derived films of recent years - The Grudge, A Tale of Two Sisters, Dark Water etc. Much scarier than another gallon of fake blood imo.

I thought The Hills Have Eyes was more disturbing than scary........rather sick in places but i still enjoyed it! The same for Hostel.

Theres quite a few horror films coming out soon.....An American Haunting. The Dark, Silent Hill (Sean Bean with an american accent :hihi:) When A Stranger Calls (which is supposed to be awful!)

Cool quote - I never have my ankle out for just that reason, although in my case it's the man on the landing just outside my bedroom door whan I wake with a start around 3.30am....

oh wow that is the best film i've seen so far, i'd advise u not to eat if u wana see this film. or u might choke on ur popcorn :D
