Remember when it was called the Minerva? lovely people there and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Now..hmmmm what can i say except what a joke!!! heres the situation.....
Ordered a cooked breakfast and we wanted freid bread as you do with breakfast so we asked them for it instead of toast.. we got the reply." dont do it"
what??? dont do it! its freid bread not a 3 course meal!! they fry eggs etc whats wrong with frying a slice of bread!!
left it went to another cafe no problem got fried bread.
went back another day i asked for ham egg and chips and the missis there did it me even though it wasnt on the menu.

Week later i went in and again asked for ham egg and chips to the bloke....sorry dont do it.
WHAT!!! i had it last week..
no you didnt we dont do it!
yes i did she did it.
look love its not on the menu we dont do it!

he asked me to pick something else off the menu but i told him to stick it!
then the wife comes over saying you should have told him i did it.
i said i did but he wouldnt listen to me as usual!
and she just walked away and said your choice love

what sort of buisness is that??????? pathetic thats what!
now we go to TIFFANYS a new one open at castle gate and the meals are HUGE no joke and you get what you ask for!!!;)

Oooh, I remember the Minerva!

I was stood at the bus depot once in the snow and got fed up of waiting so I went in there and had home-made meat and potato pie with veg and gravy.

I was well stuffed!
